The Ivry Gitlis International Association is a non-profit, non-governmental, nonpolitical, and independent organisation with cultural and educational goals. The promotion of music, particularly classical music, and the discovery and international promotion of new talents in the performing arts are basic priorities for the Ivry Gitlis International Association.
The project team is led by the project coordinator, Mr. Dascal Emilian, an exceptional viola player from Romania, founder of the chamber orchestra “The European Strings,” professor at the Academy of Music St. Gallen Switzerland, lecturer/honorary fellow and head of the strings department at the University of Chichester UK and founder of the renowned Strings Trio, “Trio Celibidache.”
