Jury Rules
- The jury will deliberate the results in a reserved, private environment, to which only the jury and the organizer of the contest will have access.
- The members of the jury who have students participating in this competition will not be allowed to vote for the respective participants.
- The jury will refrain from having any form of the contact with competitors during the competition.
- The list of participants qualified for subsequent stages as well as the final results of the competition are announced by director of the competition or a person delegated by him or her.
- In stage 1 of the competition, members of the jury award points for each participant’s performance using a scale from 10 (lowest score) through 25 (highest score).
- Candidates will qualify to stage 2 and 3 according to the order of the scores obtained.
- The centralized vote of the jury is incontestable and irreversible.
- The scores will be made on a nominal file completed by each of the jury members, which will be given to the competition secretary for centralization.
- The members of the jury are asked to refrain from discussing all points until after awards have been determined.
- In situations where two or more candidates receive the same score, a subsequent vote will be taken to determine the party with the highest overall score.
- The members of the jury have the right not to award all of the prizes.
- The jury can give feedback after each elimination round not including the video preselection round.
- All members of the jury have equal voting / decision rights.
- The Honorary president does not have the right to vote
- The jury will refrain from sharing results with anyone outside the judging room.
- A member of the jury can be excused in the case of illness or unexpected life circumstances (death, emergency, hospitalization).
- The jury, through its presence and professional performance, makes all necessary efforts towards proper conduct (punctuality, professionalism in all forms, impartiality, non-discrimination, etc.).
- The jury accepts and signs to the implementation of the chapter “jury rules” without the possibility of changing any aspect of this chapter without consent by the honorary president, during the entirety of the competition.
- The organizer reserves the right to always change the rules of the competition and announces the jury when relevant.
- In accordance with recommendation from World Federation of International Music Competition proceedings of the jury, all events are held in English, with the optional translation into the language of the host country.
- The jury is not authorized to modify the prize schedule or details.
- The jury decision is incontestable and irreversible once it is given.
